Job summary

Softtest Pays Pty is seeking an Associate Java Software Developer to contribute to full‑stack development in NSW, AU. You will work on Java‑based applications, implementing both front‑end and back‑end components and building authenticated user flows alongside security considerations.

The role requires familiarity with the SDLC, Agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines, plus the ability to write JUnit tests and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong Java development for full‑stack applications.
• Experience with authenticated and unauthenticated user flows (e.g., MyGov, VANguard FAS).
• Familiar with JUnit testing and technical documentation.
• CI/CD pipeline experience and SDLC/Agile practices.

Responsibilities

2.Application Development

Full-stack development including front-end and back-end. Design, implementation, and reverse engineering of Java-based applications. Development of authenticated and unauthenticated user flows (e.g., such as MyGov, VANguard FAS).

3.Development Methodologies

Strong grasp of SDLC and Agile practices. CI/CD pipeline experience. Writing JUnit test cases and technical documentation.

4.Analytical & Collaborative Skills

Ability to analyse user requirements/stories and deliver minimal-defect solutions. Collaborative co-design and delivery with business stakeholders. Effective communication, initiative, and adaptability in dynamic environments.

1.Relevant Java certifications or qualifications.

2.Familiarity with UX/UI standards and practices.
