Job summary

North Projects in Queensland is seeking an experienced cost management professional at Associate level to join our team. You will lead cost management engagements across major infrastructure projects and provide independent advice on budgets, cost plans and commercial outcomes.

The role covers feasibility, procurement and delivery, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to North's advisory capability while building relationships with government and private sector clients.

Qualifications

• Consulting experience in cost management for major infrastructure.
• Experience in pre-contract and post-contract cost management.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contracts and commercial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management engagements across major infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review cost plans, estimates, cash flow and reports.
• Advise on procurement strategies and tendering processes.
• Undertake post-contract cost management, variations and final accounts.
• Mentor junior engineers and estimators within the team.
• Build relationships with government and private sector clients.
