Job summary

Cartwright Jones seeks an Associate Financial Adviser in Sydney CBD to work alongside a lead adviser and gradually manage your own client book. You will sit in on client meetings, shape strategy and transition to a fully-fledged adviser through a deliberate runway.

The role sits within a flagship boutique with a focus on holistic advice and development of its people. Salary ranges from $100k–$120k + Super + Bonus, with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Paraplanner or CSM in financial planning
• Technically strong, with a real appetite to keep learning
• Working towards your industry qualifications
• Polished, professional and a confident communicator
• Someone who genuinely cares about getting it right for clients

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to your Principal Adviser
• Bridging paraplanning and administration to keep advice moving
• Drafting advice documents and helping formulate client strategies
• Preparing Alternative Strategies & Product Working Papers for Best Interests Duty
• Researching products and building comparisons that genuinely fit client needs
• Attending client meetings and contributing to the conversation
• Gradually taking ownership of your own book of clients

A typical week
