Method Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading Australian Institutional Banking team to appoint a Senior Manager or Associate Director into its Project Finance group in Sydney.

The role involves origination, structuring and execution of complex limited recourse financing transactions across energy, infrastructure, transport and natural resources sectors. You will lead smaller deals independently while guiding larger transactions with Directors and Executive Directors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Finance, Structured Finance or Infrastructure Finance.
• Strong transaction execution and credit analysis background.
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
• Experience preparing credit papers and presenting transactions for approval.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across complex transactions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex Project Finance transactions from origination through financial close.
• Structure and assess financing solutions in line with risk appetite.
• Prepare and present high-quality credit submissions and investment papers.
• Manage due diligence, documentation and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
• Build strong relationships with institutional clients, investors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the ongoing management of an existing loan portfolio.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

The Role

Working as part of a highly experienced and collaborative team, you'll play a leading role in the origination, structuring and execution of complex limited recourse financing transactions.

You'll lead smaller transactions independently while taking ownership of key workstreams on larger, high-profile deals, working alongside experienced Directors and Executive Directors.
