Job summary

East Partnership, a globally active infrastructure platform with a growing Australian presence, is seeking a Project Finance Vice President to lead financing strategy across major projects in Australia.

You will develop financial models, assess bankability, and structure debt and equity solutions while coordinating with investment, development, commercial and technical teams, as well as banks and capital providers. This is a high-visibility role with exposure to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years’ experience in project finance with exposure to infrastructure, energy and/or digital infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience leading financing processes, debt raising and transactions through to financial close.
• Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and capital structuring capabilities.
• Background within infrastructure investment, development or advisory, with ability to work across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead financing strategy and execution across a portfolio of major infrastructure, energy and digital infrastructure projects.
• Develop financial models, assess project bankability and returns, and structure debt and equity solutions.
• Lead debt raising and financing processes through to financial close.
• Collaborate with investment, development, commercial and technical teams, banks, lenders and advisers.
• Support new investment, development opportunities, M&A and due diligence, providing commercial input on capital structures and risk.

A globally active and fast-growing infrastructure platform with a strong presence across Australia, operating across PPP development, infrastructure advisory, precinct development and digital infrastructure are wanting to hire a Project Finance Vice President. The business has established operations in Sydney and Melbourne and is involved in delivering and advising on major infrastructure projects across Australia and international markets. With a growing pipeline of opportunities and continued investment across its core sectors, the firm is expanding its Australian presence and building out its teams across the investment team.

As Project Finance VP, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, leading financing strategy and execution across a portfolio of major infrastructure, energy and digital infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing financial models, assessing project bankability and returns, structuring debt and equity solutions, and leading debt raising and financing processes through to financial close. The role will involve working closely with investment, development, commercial and technical teams, as well as banks, institutional lenders, advisers and other capital providers. You will also support new investment and development opportunities, M&A and due diligence, while providing commercial input into capital structures, project risk and value creation. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute across origination, investment, development and project execution.

Ideal Candidate Profile
