Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Principal / Associate Director Civil Engineer in Gladstone or Mackay to lead the Transport Civil Infrastructure team. You will provide technical leadership, develop client relationships and drive delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects across transport and community sectors.

This role offers regional leadership within Central Queensland while connecting to Aurecon's national network of experts, with opportunities to mentor engineers and grow the business footprint

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects in consulting, engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience delivering Transport/铁路/roads? (as applicable) and TMR projects.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and design processes; RPEQ is essential.

As a Principal / Associate Director Civil Engineer in our Transport Civil Infrastructure team based in Gladstone or Mackay, you'll provide technical leadership, develop client relationships and drive the successful delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects across transport and community infrastructure sectors.

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects from concept through to construction

What You'll Bring

• A degree qualification in Civil Engineering
• Extensive experience delivering civil infrastructure projects within consulting, engineering or infrastructure environments and proven experience delivering TMR projects
• Strong client relationship management and business development capability
• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and mentoring engineers
• Proven ability to manage project delivery, commercial outcomes and stakeholder engagement
• Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards, design processes and infrastructure delivery frameworks
• RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is essential
• Excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills
