Job summary

SA Health in Adelaide is seeking an Associate Director Clinical Safety Systems to lead the Clinical Safety Systems work stream, manage a multidisciplinary team, and deliver critical programs within the Safety & Quality Unit.

The role oversees strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of clinical safety systems and data programs to promote statewide improvement in health care safety and quality, with a focus on engagement strategies and data integrity.

Overview:

• The Associate Director Clinical Safety Systems is responsible for leading and managing the Clinical Safety Systems work stream and managing a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of critical programs, projects and services within the Safety & Quality Unit.
• The position leads and oversees the strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of a clinical safety systems and data program and related projects that promote, inform and support systematic statewide improvement in the safety and quality of health care.
• The Associate Director Clinical Safety Systems leads and oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of engagement and communication strategies and plans and provides specialist consultancy to statewide initiatives that deliver continuous improvement in clinical safety systems, data governance and data integrity.
