The role oversees strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of clinical safety systems and data programs to promote statewide improvement in health care safety and quality, with a focus on engagement strategies and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Clinical Safety Systems work stream and a multi-disciplinary team within the Safety & Quality Unit.
• Develop, implement and evaluate a statewide clinical safety systems and data program to improve safety and quality of health care.
• Lead engagement and communication strategies and provide specialist consultancy to statewide initiatives on data governance and data integrity.
