Overview:

• The Associate Director Clinical Governance is responsible for leading and managing the Clinical Governance work stream and managing a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of critical programs, projects and services within the Safety and Quality Unit.
• The position leads and oversees the strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of clinical governance programs and related projects that ensure compliance with related legislative requirements and promote, inform and support systematic statewide improvement in the safety and quality of health care.
• The Associate Director Clinical Governance leads and undertakes the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical governance policy, leads and oversees the preparation of reports, cabinet submissions and responses to the Coroner and the Minister and leads and manages governance committee coordination and support across the portfolio.
