Job summary

Aston Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Sydney team, leading the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects and playing a key role in the continued growth of our business.

Based in our Sydney office, you will manage scope, programme and resources across a diverse commercial portfolio, mentor engineers and foster growth, while representing Aston in client meetings and industry engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in building services engineering.
• Experience delivering and managing multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong technical understanding across building services.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and project stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead teams while remaining engaged with technical project outcomes.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of multidisciplinary building services projects from concept through to completion
• Providing technical direction, design oversight and strategic engineering advice
• Managing project scope, programme, resources and delivery outcomes
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Leading and mentoring engineers and supporting the development of the wider team
• Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering services to deliver integrated project outcomes
• Reviewing technical documentation, designs and project deliverables
• Identifying project opportunities and contributing to business development and new work
• Representing Aston in client meetings, project discussions and industry engagements
• Supporting the continued growth and development of Aston’s Sydney operations
