Job summary

CSL is seeking an Associate Director, R&D Lab Platform – Bioinformatics in Melbourne to lead the evolution of digital capabilities across our research and product development labs. You will collaborate with scientists and bioinformaticians to ensure platforms meet evolving needs, enabling researchers to access, connect, analyse and interpret complex data efficiently.

You will drive strategy, lifecycle management and governance for platform implementations, while partnering with external vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a related discipline; PhD desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to R&D Lab Platform strategy and roadmap for bioinformatics and data.
• Partner with scientists and technologists to translate research needs into scalable solutions.
• Support development, integration, and lifecycle management of platforms for complex data.
• Enable connectivity between instruments, platforms and data repositories.
• Drive automation and standardisation of data flows for accessibility and traceability.
