Job summary

University of Melbourne is seeking a skilled coordinator to manage real-time pathogen genomics platform deployments across health settings. You will partner with technical and public health teams to shape how genomic data informs surveillance, research and biosecurity.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT, data science, public health or related discipline.
• Experience managing complex projects involving IT systems or data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to build relationships across partner organisations.
• Experience with information systems, digital platforms or data-driven public health programmes.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem solving capabilities in fast-paced environments.
• Interest in public health, genomics, bioinformatics or health data management contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of platform deployments across health settings.
• Develop and manage implementation plans, timelines and resources.
• Coordinate stakeholder onboarding, training and user acceptance testing.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and report outcomes and KPIs.
• Liaise between technical teams and end users, capture feedback for improvement.
