Job summary

CSL Behring seeks an Associate Scientist to advance bioanalysis and biomarkers in Melbourne. You will develop, validate and conduct compliant bioassays, including PK, ADA, biomarker and flow cytometry assays, generating data to progress CSL’s clinical portfolio.

The role collaborates across CSL R&D, academia and industry to drive project progression. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Immunology or Biochemistry, with 3+ years of lab experience and strong data analysis, communication and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Immunology, Biochemistry or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ laboratory experience in cellular biology or analytical sciences.
Experience in design, generation and optimisation of laboratory assays for molecular therapeutics.

Responsibilities

Conduct assay development, validation and sample analysis.
Troubleshoot assays and inform next steps during development.
Analyse data using established workflows and prepare SOPs.
Support projects from concept through clinical development.
Apply best practice in experimental design, data analysis and GLP/ISO 17025 compliance.
Communicate results to stakeholders and support external collaborations.
