Job summary

Sydney Enosi is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the DevOps team and rotate through infrastructure and observability engineering. You will contribute to frontend components, API features, and Terraform tooling while learning across domains.

Remote, full-time, 12+ month contract, with potential progression to software or infrastructure roles. You will work with AWS, GraphQL, and Docker in a modern CI/CD environment and collaborate via Slack, Jira, and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications, or computer science.
• Interest shown through personal projects beyond education requirements.
• 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Git and source control.
• Understanding of the SDLC and continuous deployment culture (Buildkite).

Responsibilities

• Develop React components for Powertracer frontend.
• Own API feature development in microservices.
• Integrate API features via GraphQL for frontend use.
• Improve observability across services and frontend.
• Refactor Terraform modules for deployment of infrastructure.
