Job summary

Sydney Enosi is seeking an Associate Engineer for an optional remote role that starts with six-month rotations across infrastructure and observability engineering. You will contribute to Powertracer frontend components, API features in microservices, and GraphQL integrations while learning Terraform-based deployment and cloud practices.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduates with a degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering or computer science.
• Some professional software engineering experience (1–2 years) is considered an asset.
• Understanding of source code management using Git and the SDLC in a continuous deployment environment.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS) and Terraform is advantageous.
• Knowledge of React, GraphQL and Go is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Introduce new React components to Powertracer frontend.
• Own the introduction of new API features in our microservices.
• Integrate API features from microservices through GraphQL for front-end presentation.
• Refine observability capabilities across all services, including the frontend.
• Refactor Terraform modules used in deployment of infrastructure and applications.
