Job summary

Enosi is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the DevOps team in Sydney. The role includes six-month rotations across infrastructure and observability engineering, with potential to progress to software or infrastructure roles based on interest and business needs.

Responsibilities include adding React components, expanding API features in microservices, integrating via GraphQL, and enhancing observability and Terraform workflows. Remote work is optional, with collaboration mainly over Slack.

Qualifications

• Recent university graduates with degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering or computer science, or completed an alternative learn-to-code program.
• Interest in career path shown through personal projects beyond degree requirements.
• Possibly 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Understand source control and Git in a team setting.
• Knowledge of SDLC and continuous deployment practices.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS or others) and Terraform.
• Exposure to Go, React, and GraphQL is a plus.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Introduce new React components to Powertracer frontend.
• Own API feature development in microservices.
• Integrate API features via GraphQL for frontend presentation.
• Improve observability across services and frontend.
• Refactor Terraform modules for deployment of infrastructure and applications.
