Council Jobs is seeking an Assistant Treatment Plant Operator in Biloela to assist with the operation and maintenance of water and sewerage treatment facilities. The role supports monitoring, sampling, report preparation and customer-facing inquiries while adhering to regulatory and Council policies.

You will work with SCADA/Telemetry systems, collect samples, perform routine analyses and help ensure consistent treated water quality and supply.

Qualifications

• C class driver’s licence required (minimum provisional)
• White Card (GIO-industry safety induction) required
• Certificate III in Water Industry is desirable and may be pursued on joining

Responsabilités

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of water and sewerage infrastructure
• Monitor treatment process parameters and dosing requirements
• Collect samples and perform routine analyses
• Respond to changes to maintain supply to defined standards
• Maintain log sheets, asset records and monthly reports
• Utilise SCADA/Telemetry and SWIMs for monitoring and reporting
