Job summary

GPRWA Unit Trust is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager for The Rowing Pavilion in Perth. You’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to run daily operations and elevate guest experiences along the riverfront.

Lead floor and bar teams during service, drive staff training, onboarding, and development, and help with rostering, stock control, compliance, and venue presentation. You’ll also own events and activations, from intimate tastings to large functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Working right next to the Venue Manager running daily operations

Leading floor and bar teams during service with confidence

Supporting training, onboarding, and development of staff

Assisting with rostering, stock control, compliance, and venue presentation

Owning the delivery of events and activations - from intimate wine tastings to major functions

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in a management role in hospitality

A leader who’s calm under pressure, thrives in busy environments, and knows how to lift a team

Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Passion for great food, drinks, and high-quality guest service

Current RSA and Approved Manager certification
