Job summary

The Duke of Wellington in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to join our historic pub management team. You will work alongside the Venue Manager to drive day-to-day operations, lead floor staff, and ensure a seamless guest experience during peak times.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of management in fast-paced venues, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to implement promotions. RSA VIC certification is required, and you will enjoy an autonomous role with strong company

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a similar venue.
• Experience in a fast-paced F&B venue with on-floor leadership.
• Strong beverage knowledge and stock-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations and manage the venue team during peak service periods.
• Drive day-to-day operations and ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Plan and execute venue promotions and stock control measures.

We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our already well-established management team.

As Assistant Venue Manager, you'll work side by side with the Venue Manager to help drive the day-to-day operations of the venue. From leading the team on the floor and keeping the venue running smoothly, you'll play a key role in the continued success of this historic pub.

• Hold a current VIC RSA
