Job summary

Pink Lake IGA in Esperance, WA, is seeking two Assistant Store Managers to support the Store Manager in achieving goals and daily operations. You will supervise sales staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and help with rostering, recruitment, and staff onboarding in a busy retail environment.

The role requires a friendly, dependable leader with a commitment to customer service, a relevant AQF qualification, and full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate II or higher in Retail, Management, Leadership, Business, Commerce, Marketing, Human Resources or related field.
• At least 1 year of full‑time or equivalent part‑time experience.
• Additional 6 months experience may be considered in lieu of a qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in achieving store goals and operational objectives.
• Supervise and co‑ordinate daily activities of sales staff.
• Interview and recruit new employees and support induction/onboarding.
• Guide staff in resolving challenging situations and maintain safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure products are displayed and priced correctly.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and accurate inventory control.
