GPC Asia Pacific's Albany team is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to coach and lead a dynamic retail crew, drive store performance and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a coastal WA town.

This hands-on leadership role involves opening/closing, stock handling, safety leadership, and working with Store Managers to achieve daily targets while enjoying a lifestyle with ocean views and work-life balance.

About the role:

Our Assistant Store Managers:

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Always set a positive example
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

Oversee & supervise daily store operations. Support & develop your team to ensure outstanding service is being provided to our customers.

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver's licence
• Roll up your sleeves toreceive, dispatch, and put away stock. (This is a hands-on role that involves lifting, bending, and climbing as part of your day)
• Prioritise safety
