Job summary

OZ Design Furniture in Myaree, WA, seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to help launch our brand-new Perth store. You will lead a small, high-performing team and drive a superior customer experience on the shop floor.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager across selling, coaching, merchandising and store operations, taking ownership when needed and contributing to our WA market entry and brand culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in retail leadership or supervision.
• Strong sales and customer service background.
• Ability to coach, support and motivate team members.
• Hands-on leadership style with willingness to sell alongside the team.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Take responsibility for store operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a small but high-performing sales team.
• Coach team members to improve confidence, product knowledge and sales performance.
• Drive sales and help the store achieve targets and KPIs.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising.
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Take ownership of the store when acting as Manager on Duty.
