Job summary

OZ Design Furniture in Myaree, WA, seeks an experienced Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to help launch our brand-new Perth store. You will lead a small, high-performing team and drive a superior customer experience on the shop floor.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager across selling, coaching, merchandising and store operations, taking ownership when needed and contributing to our WA market entry and brand culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in retail leadership or supervision.

As we prepare to open our brand-new store in Myaree, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager / 2IC to join our founding WA team.
This is your opportunity to help launch an established national brand into a brand-new market and play an important role in shaping the culture and success of our first Perth store.

About the Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead the Myaree team and create an outstanding experience for every customer who walks through our doors.
You’ll be hands‑on across all areas of the business - selling, coaching, merchandising, customer service and day‑to‑day store operations, while stepping up to lead the store when the Store Manager is away.
You'll help:

• Lead, motivate and support a small but high-performing sales team
• Coach team members to improve their confidence, product knowledge and sales performance
• Drive sales and help the store achieve its targets and KPIs
• Maintain high standards of presentation and visual merchandising
• Support the Store Manager with daily operations and team development
• Take ownership of the store when acting as Manager on Duty
• Help establish the culture and standards of our brand-new Myaree store
