Job summary

Red Dot in O’Connor is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a high-volume store, drive sales, and lead a team with a hands-on, customer-first approach.

You will help manage rosters, stock, and KPI delivery while upholding safety and policy standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail leadership (Team Leader, Supervisor, Assistant Manager or similar).
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience managing rosters, store costs, and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of a high-volume retail store
• Lead, coach, and performance manage the store team to build a strong and engaged culture
• Assist with achieving sales targets, gross profit, and operational KPIs
• Manage team rosters to balance customer service, team engagement, and commercial outcomes
• Oversee stock processing, merchandising standards, and loss prevention practices
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Respond to customer escalations and feedback when required
• Assume Store Manager responsibilities during periods of absence
