Job summary

Bailey Nelson in Claremont is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team and deliver outstanding customer experiences across eye care and eyewear.

As ASM, you will work closely with the Store Manager and Optometrist, own store performance two days a week, manage the appointment book, and coach staff to elevate service.

This role offers strong earning potential with OTE up to 85,000 plus training and internal progression as the brand expands across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at a supervisor or management level.
• Confident leader who develops others.
• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
• Must be available to work full time on a Sunday to Thursday roster.

What you’ll be doing

As an ASM, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day success of the store:

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time
