Job summary

BCF - Boating, Camping, Fishing Rockhampton is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop a 30+ strong outdoor team, drive sales and deliver exceptional service.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth operations, implement visual merchandising, stock control, and safety standards while fostering a positive, inclusive culture.

This is a human-led, community-focused recruitment with opportunities across one of Australia’s iconic outdoor retailers.

Qualifications

• Retail management/leadership experience
• Ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service
• Natural ability to motivate and inspire your team
• Experience in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results

About The Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, your key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have:

• Retail management / leadership experience
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
