Job summary

Super Retail Group’s BCF Rockhampton is opening a brand‑new Superstore. As Assistant Store Manager you will support the Store Manager to maximise sales, ensure store smooth operation and foster a positive team culture.

You’ll lead by example, coach a 30+ outdoor enthusiasts team, and drive customer service, merchandising and safety standards to deliver an outstanding in‑store experience.

Qualifications

• Retail management / leadership experience.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to coach teams.
• Ability to train staff, drive floor sales and deliver results.
• Experience with visual merchandising, stock control and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager, your key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have:

• Retail management / leadership experience


• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.


• A natural ability to motivate and inspire your team


• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.


• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health and safety and store security.
