Stratco is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Malaga store. You will lead a skilled team, coach colleagues, and help deliver exceptional customer experiences for both retail and trade customers.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll play a key leadership role within our Malaga store and become a trusted point of contact for both retail and trade customers. As Assistant Store Manager, you'll help drive day‑to‑day operations, support and develop team members, and ensure every customer walks away with an outstanding experience.

You’ll balance leadership, sales, customer service, and operational excellence while helping maintain a store environment that is productive, welcoming, and results focused.

In This Role You’ll:

• Lead by example, creating a positive and high performing team culture
• Deliver outstanding service across face‑to‑face, phone and email interactions
• Coach, mentor and support team development
• Assist with team rostering and training initiatives
• Support the Store Manager with daily operational responsibilities
• Champion workplace safety and compliance across all store activities
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and store performance goals

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is an engaging and confident communicator
• Enjoys leading, coaching and developing others
• Brings trade knowledge, building industry experience of a passion for DIY
• Can thrive in a busy, hands on retail environment
• Is motivated by achieving results and delivering exceptional customer service
• Is available to work weekends on a rotating roster
