Norco Co-Operative Limited in Coffs Harbour is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive store performance, coach team members and ensure a safe, productive and welcoming shopping environment for our local community.

You will foster a collaborative culture, manage stock and merchandising, and build strong relationships with customers while upholding Norco's values as a 100%

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on individual with strong customer service, operational and leadership capabilities to join our Coffs Harbour team as Assistant Store Manager.

This is a key leadership role within the store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will help drive store performance, develop team capability and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will lead by example, support day-to-day operations and provide strong leadership to ensure the store continues to operate successfully in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a trusted part of the local community, our Coffs Harbour store plays an important role supporting a diverse range of customers across the region. You'll be joining a supportive team environment where you can make a genuine contribution to both the store's success and the local community.

In this Role, You Will:

• Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and support customers with practical solutions.

• Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

To Be Successful, You Will Demonstrate:

• Leadership experience in a retail, agricultural or customer-facing environment.

• Experience with inventory management, stock control and cash handling processes.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Current and valid driver's licence (essential).
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Relevant qualification in business, retail, agriculture or a related field (desirable but not essential).
• Interest in agriculture, rural products or regional communities would be highly regarded.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
