The Salvation Army Australia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for our Cannington Salvos Store in WA. You will support the Store Manager with sales, stock flow, pricing, and team leadership, while delivering a welcoming in-store experience.

This permanent, full-time role offers opportunities to train volunteers, drive community engagement, and uphold our mission and values of integrity, respect, compassion and collaboration.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to grow their leadership skills and support the Store Manager in leading our team at Cannington Salvos Stores.

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day operations through supporting sales, stock management, team leadership, and delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

This is a permanent, full-time role located in Cannington, WA.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and assist the Store Manager to achieve sales and surplus targets.


• Help manage stock flow, pricing and merchandising in line with Salvos Stores’ standards and values.


• Provide training, direction, and support to employees and volunteers.


• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.


• Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.
