Job summary

Pedders Salisbury is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Salisbury location. This full-time role supports coordinating the day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity, delivering high-quality customer experiences and meeting store targets.

This opportunity helps you build management skills while working with quality people and products, with Monday–Friday hours and a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.
• Evidence of working across different vehicle makes and models.
• Full driver’s licence with ability to drive manual.
• Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Store Manager and run the store in their absence.
• Manage the daily workshop schedule and on-time customer delivery.
• Plan and coordinate parts supply and delivery to the workshop workflow.
• Monitor the quality of work performed in the workshop.
• Perform vehicle repairs in the workshop.

We have an exciting opportunity to join an established store and are on the lookout for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Salisbury location.

In this full-time role you will support coordinating the day-to-day technical operations of the store workshop and trade activity to deliver high quality customer experiences and to meet store targets. What You Bring To The Team

• Previous experience in any of these positions: Automotive Parts Installer, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Brake Mechanic, Automotive Service Technician, Mechanical installer (with basic wheel alignment preferred)
• Experience in leading or managing people and fostering a positive culture.
• Evidence of working across different vehicle makes and models
• Full drivers’ licence with an ability to drive manual
• A team player who has strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (preferred)
