Job summary

Bunnings is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to oversee daily store operations, sales and high-volume stock management with a 180+ team. You’ll report to the Site Manager and collaborate with Department Managers, Supervisors and logistics teams to deliver a superior customer experience.

You’ll monitor safety, performance, and stock accuracy while driving sales initiatives and improvements across multiple departments in a dynamic DIY/building environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 50+ direct reports while performing duty manager duties including store opening/closing across weekdays and weekends.
• Conduct safety walks/audits and coach safe behaviours across the warehouse.
• Monitor department performance against sales, margin and wage targets and implement improvements.
• Drive sales through merchandising and planning by coaching Department Managers regularly.
• Oversee stocktake, stock adjustments and investigations into discrepancies with strong leadership.
• Track customer satisfaction and team engagement to drive ownership and results.
