Job summary

Nido Early School in Perth’s Northern Suburbs/Joondalup is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee daily centre operations, support a high-quality learning environment, and lead a dedicated team. You will ensure safety, compliance, and family engagement while partnering with the Executive Service Manager.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, 2+ years as a Lead Educator, and knowledge of EYLF/NQF.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Lead Educator.
• Knowledge of EYLF, National Quality Framework (NQF) and Quality Areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support centre operations to ensure high-quality care and education.
• Model best-practice educational approaches and supervise staff.
• Maintain compliance with safety, records, and reporting requirements.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
• Act as WHS representative and assist with risk management.
