Job summary

Nido Early School is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead and support the centre’s daily operations, ensuring safe, high-quality early learning environments and strong family engagement. You will work closely with the Executive Service Manager, guiding staff through compliance processes and supporting recruitment and onboarding.

The role emphasizes active supervision, consistent practice, and a nurturing leadership style aligned with the Nido philosophy.

Qualifications

• Role models high-quality educational practice and supervision.
• Strong understanding of safety, wellbeing, and learning environments.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, and performance processes.
• Maintaining accurate records for staff and children with compliance focus.
• WHS representative duties, safety checks, drills, and risk management.
• Lead by example with consistency, respect, collaboration and speaking up.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational practice and supervision.
