Nucleus International Recruitment is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager on Hamilton Island, QLD. Salary is AUD 82,000–83,000 per year plus superannuation.

The role involves supporting the Restaurant Manager in daily FOH operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences on a iconic Australian island. We offer opportunities across diverse venues, subsidised staff accommodation, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, hotel or resort.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• A passion for guest service and developing your team.
• A Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification is preferred.

Your Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll work alongside the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily Front of House operations, maintain service standards and support your team. You’ll remain hands‑on during service, helping create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable dining experiences for our guests.

• Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating the Front of House team Coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain clear communication
