Are you looking to build a genuine career in Property Management — without being thrown into an overloaded portfolio before you're ready?
At Bowmaker Property, we're building our Property Management division differently.
We believe in quality over quantity, sustainable workloads and investing in our people ahead of growth. That means giving our team the time, support and resources to do their jobs properly — and ensuring neither our people nor our clients ever feel like just another number.
We're looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our growing team and work closely alongside our experienced Property Managers and Business Owners.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some real estate or property management experience who wants to develop their skills, take on greater responsibility over time and build a long-term career in a supportive independent agency.
As Assistant Property Manager, you'll be involved across the day-to-day management of our portfolio rather than being confined to one small part of the process.
Working alongside our Property Management team, you'll assist with tenant and landlord communication, inspections, leasing, property maintenance and general portfolio management.
Importantly, this is a role designed to develop with you.
As your knowledge and confidence grow, so will your responsibilities, providing a genuine pathway toward becoming a Property Manager and managing your own portfolio — without being rushed into it before you're ready.
To succeed in this position, you will ideally possess:

Bowmaker Property is a proudly family-owned and operated business built around relationships, not volume.
We deliberately prioritise quality over quantity. We don't believe our landlords and tenants should simply become numbers in an oversized portfolio — and we don't believe our team members should either.
Our approach allows our people to spend more time communicating, solving problems properly and developing genuine long‑term relationships with the clients whose properties we manage.
We also take a broader view of Property Management.
Our goal isn't simply to collect rent and coordinate maintenance. Working closely with our sales team, we take a holistic approach to property ownership, helping our landlords protect their investment, maximise its ongoing performance and maintain their property in a condition that keeps it sale‑ready for the future.
Just as importantly, we're committed to building a sustainable workplace.
We invest in people ahead of growth rather than waiting until workloads become unmanageable. We want our team members to have the support, training and time they need to become excellent at what they do — and to see a genuine future for themselves within the business.
For the right person, this isn't simply another Assistant Property Manager position.
It's an opportunity to learn, progress and build a career with us as we grow.
If you want to work somewhere relationships matter, quality is valued above volume, and neither you nor your clients are treated like a number, we'd love to hear from you.
