Job summary

Knight Frank Australia is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day management of retail and commercial assets on-site. You will work with the AMS team handling operational tasks, compliance, financial administration and relationship management to deliver outstanding service.

The role requires a Property/Business degree with Cert IV in Real Estate Practice, and at least 1 year in a similar property role. Strong organisational, communication and MS Office skills are essential.

• Degree in Property or Business with Cert IV in Real Estate Practice.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar property role.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and developing knowledge of building operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rent collection, arrears management, and accurate record-keeping in AMS systems.
• Prepare and process work orders, purchase orders, and invoices promptly.
• Maintain insurance, security, and compliance registers.
• Support property inspections and coordinate with facilities managers for maintenance.
• Contribute to client reporting and attend monthly meetings with senior team members.
• Build strong relationships with tenants, clients, and contractors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
