Job summary

LJ Hooker Lifestyle Group is seeking a confident, organised Assistant Property Manager to join our team and work closely with Senior Property Managers across a busy residential portfolio.

You’ll split time between the office and field, delivering hands-on support, keeping processes running smoothly and ensuring clients and tenants receive a high level of service. Immediate start, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Property management experience is preferred but not essential for the right person.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication with tenants, landlords and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in the field as well as in the office.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, administrative and client-focused support across day-to-day property management.
• Conduct routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections and prepare condition reports.
• Attend open homes and private inspections and coordinate with tenants and owners.
• Coordinate trades and assist with repairs and maintenance.
• Support Senior Property Managers with portfolio administration and CRM updates.

LJ Hooker Lifestyle Group are looking for a confident, organised and reliable Assistant Property Manager to join our team and work closely alongside our Senior Property Managers across a busy residential portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on, building strong relationships and providing genuine support to a Senior PM. You’ll spend time both in the office and out in the field, helping keep the portfolio running smoothly and ensuring our clients and tenants receive a high level of service.

We’re looking for someone who is committed to building a long‑term career in property management, enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in being dependable, proactive and well organised.

Monday to Friday | Immediate start available

The Role

• Working closely with the Senior Property Managers, you’ll provide practical, administrative and client‑focused support across the day‑to‑day management of the portfolio.
• Conduct routine inspections, ingoing and outgoing inspections, and condition reports
• Attend open homes, private inspections and key handovers
• Coordinate trades and attend properties as required
• Follow up maintenance requests and assist with coordinating repairs
• Assist with property access, keys and general portfolio requirements
• Support the Senior Property Managers with the day‑to‑day management of their portfolios
• Identify and action tasks proactively to help keep the portfolio running efficiently

Administration & Property Management

• Maintain accurate property and tenancy records
• Update CRM and property management systems
• Assist with arrears monitoring and follow‑up
• Assist with tenant and landlord communication
• Respond to phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with general compliance and property management administration
