The NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development is seeking an Assistant Project Officer to deliver project management and administrative services, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with quality and scope.
You will maintain project records, prepare minutes and reports, assist with procurement and budgets, and use construction project management software to track progress and reporting. This is a full-time role, with two 12-month temporary placements.
As an Assistant Project Officer, you will provide a broad range of project management and administrative services to help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope.
You will assist the project team by maintaining project documentation and business systems, preparing meeting minutes, reports and correspondence, contributing to procurement activities and assisting with the management of project budgets, including purchase order and invoice reconciliation.
Using construction project management software and other business systems, you will help maintain accurate project records, track progress, update project information and contribute to reporting requirements. You will also have the opportunity to identify improvements to administrative processes, business systems and service delivery.
We’re looking for a person who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with experience providing high-quality project and business services in a busy, high-volume environment.
