Job summary

Unispace is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of construction projects. You will assist the Project Manager from planning through closeout, coordinating with teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure milestones and quality standards are met.

You will help prepare schedules, budgets and work plans, monitor progress, manage procurement, and support safety and compliance. On-site presence may be required as projects proceed.

Qualifications

• University degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, project management, or similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate planning, execution, and closeout across all project phases.
• Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to meet goals and deadlines.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets and work plans; monitor progress and update documentation.
• Support procurement, track materials and equipment deliveries; help manage subcontractor performance and safety standards.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, meetings and quality control activities.
• Address issues or changes promptly to ensure timely resolutions; prepare and circulate project status reports.
• Assist with project financials including invoice approvals and budget tracking.
