The successful candidate will lead the school’s teaching programs, support staff development, and work closely with families, external agencies and the Principal Class Team to deliver high-quality education and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Educational leadership and visionary school improvement.
• Proven ability to lead change and manage staff through change.
• Commitment to high-quality student outcomes and evidence-based practice.
• Ability to implement Department policies to a high standard.
• Understanding of learning technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
• Capacity to motivate and develop staff and build effective teams.
• Capability to lead in wellbeing, behaviour and student support.
• Strong interpersonal skills with parents and the community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's education program in line with strategic plan and policies.
• Manage budget and staff within designated responsibility areas.
• Contribute to policy formulation and school-wide decision making.
• Develop systems for inclusion, intervention and student support.
• Oversee MoTS and MTSS initiatives to support student wellbeing.
• Coordinate whole-school events and partnerships with external agencies.
• Build staff capability through coaching, professional learning and collaboration.
• Foster a learning environment that supports individual student needs and talents.
