Job summary

Alamanda College, Point Cook, Melbourne, is seeking an Assistant Principal (Range 2) to lead teaching and learning and wellbeing across the middle years. You will partner with staff to implement evidence-based practices, support differentiated learning, and mentor staff within a dynamic, internationally minded school environment.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic budgeting, and collaboration with the school community under the Department of Education Victoria.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of senior curriculum or level coordinators.
• Allocation of budgets, positions of responsibility and other resources.
• Supervision of the delivery of teaching programs.
• Management of programs to improve the knowledge and experience of staff.
• Responsibility for general discipline matters beyond the management of classroom teachers.
• Contribute to the overall management of the school.
