Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Evidence of responding to individual student learning needs beyond a standard IEP.
• A strong leading role in managing and overseeing DIP across Prep to Year 4.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Ability to provide sound advice to teaching teams to support student learning.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Commitment to professional learning and aligning practice with Department values.
• Appropriate teaching registration and qualifications for leadership roles.

• Lead and oversee significant school programs within the defined area.
• Allocate budgets, positions of responsibility and resources for your area.
• Supervise delivery of teaching programs and monitor quality.
• Drive improvements in staff knowledge and classroom practice.
