Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the day-to-day operations under the Store Manager. You will ensure the store runs smoothly and delivers a great guest experience.

You’ll train team members, monitor stock and deliveries, manage rosters, and uphold health and safety standards. Prior retail or hospitality experience and strong communication are valued, with leadership skills encouraged but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Retail or Hospitality.
• Leadership experience is desirable but not required.
• Ability to lead a team environment and communicate clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and efficiently manage day-to-day store tasks.
• Provide a great training experience for onboarding team members.
• Monitor stock levels and product wastage.
• Manage deliveries and rostering.
• Uphold health and safety standards in the store.
• Develop plans to drive sales and improve customer experience.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to ensure smooth operations.
