Job summary

Endeavour Group’s Hyde Park venue in Perth is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily pub operations and a front‑of‑house team. You’ll be the face of the pub when the boss is away, ensuring safe, energetic service and a welcoming atmosphere for locals.

Successful candidates will have supervisory hospitality experience, a current RSA and state‑required Approved Manager status. This hands‑on role involves lifting and stock deliveries, with excellent team leadership being essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room.
• RSA and Approved Managers as per state requirements.
• Willingness to perform manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Assistant Manager | Hyde Park

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Hyde Parkbuzzing and loved by the locals.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and Approved Managers as per state requirements
