Job summary

Burson is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for the Blacktown branch to lead day-to-day operations, boost sales, and motivate the team to excel. This hands-on role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store standards.

You will support the Store Manager, manage inventory, and drive team performance within a busy automotive parts environment, while upholding OH&S policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a driven and diverse team environment.
• Experience in the automotive parts sector is preferred.
• Ability to engage with and motivate team members.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and drive sales growth.
• Provide high-level customer service focusing on retention and development.
• Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy.
• Maintain store standards and adhere to OH&S policies.
• Support the Store Manager and step into leadership roles as needed.
• Lead and support a team to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers
• Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention & development
• Assisting with inventory control
• Maintaining store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH & S compliance
• Supporting the Store Manager
• Leading and supporting your team

Qualifications

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Client-driven with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy.
