Job summary

Burson in Innisfail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, and motivate the team.

You’ll handle automotive parts queries for trade and retail customers, maintain store standards, support the Store Manager, and ensure OH&S compliance, while building a capable, customer‑focused team at the Innisfail branch.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers

• Supporting the Store Manager
• Leading and supporting your team

• An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
• Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)
• The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
• Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
• OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
• Current full drivers license
