Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking an Assistant in Nursing to deliver person-centred care that supports residents to live with comfort and dignity. From hands-on support to collaborating with nurses, you’ll help create positive experiences for residents who call Forest View Residential Aged Care their home.

You’ll work with Registered and Enrolled Nurses, assist with daily living activities, document care accurately, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Health Services Assistance (or equivalent).
• Ability to provide safe, person-centred care within a residential aged care environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing teams and residents.
• Commitment to continuous learning, quality care and safe work practices.

As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll help deliver person-centred care that supports residents to live with comfort and dignity. From providing hands‑on support to working closely with nurses and care teams, you'll contribute to positive experiences and outcomes for people who call Forest View Residential Aged Care their home.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

• Supporting residents with daily living activities that promote wellbeing, comfort and quality of life.
• Working alongside Registered and Enrolled Nurses to deliver safe, high-quality care and monitor changes in residents' needs.
• Helping create a welcoming, respectful and safe environment where residents feel valued and supported.
• Contributing to quality and safety initiatives by accurately documenting care and identifying opportunities for improvement.
