St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba invites applications for a casual Assistant in Nursing in our pool. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering patient care with a focus on quality and safety.
Essential qualifications include Certificate III in health/aged care or completing a year of Nursing studies, with hospital experience desirable. Casual shifts include weekends and nights, with competitive rates and benefits.

St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 197-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Ability to provide clinical practice and care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Facility.
Ability to assist in the performance of nursing duties in an efficient and prompt manner as delegated by a Registered Nurse or an Enrolled Nurse.
Have a demonstrated application of contemporary infection control standards and practices.
