Job summary

Bankstown District Sports Club is seeking an experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead our large-scale, multi-venue hospitality operation. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will supervise restaurants, bars and entertainment spaces, drive guest experiences, and help deliver exceptional service and financial targets.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong staff development, rostering, cost control and compliance with RSA, RCG and Food Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality leadership or management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• RSA and RCG Competency Cards.
• Food Safety Certificate.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of restaurants, bars and outlets across the Club.
• Lead and develop supervisors and team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure service standards across venues.
• Assist rostering and workforce planning to meet targets.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support menu launches, promotions and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor stock and monthly stocktakes.
• Assist budgeting, reporting, purchasing and cost control activities.
• Ensure RSA/RCG compliance and Food Safety standards.
• Drive a positive team culture aligned with the Club's values.
